Wild Garlic time

Well today I made Wild Garlic and Feta tarts for tea
this is an annual, seasonal, event now and I just managed to take one picture before it all got eaten.
This is good warm from the oven,
and Chris thinks it is even better cold the next day!

the recipe can be found at the excellent Allotment 2 kitchen blog  HERE

  1. I still haven't managed to find wild garlic in my area...I am thinking about trying to purchase some plants so that I could grow some in the allotment hedgerow so that I can try it!!

The tarts look wonderful and I envy you the chance to make and eat them!

    1. They are one of those annual treats....
we gather from around cheddar mainly, although there are also a couple of woods around somerset and cornwall where I know ransoms grow,
hope you do manage to find some and get to enjoy their unique qualities!
